Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and/or security roles.

  • Strong understanding of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proficiency in automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications, and managing security in a multi-cloud environment.

  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Solid experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices and understanding of security principles.

  • Experience with automated security testing tools.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or cloud-specific security certifications.

  • Experience with network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols).

  • Advanced knowledge of cloud service providers, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including their respective services and security controls.

  • Experience implementing security monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools like Splunk, ELK stack, or similar.

  • Prior work with security incident response and threat hunting.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.

  • Contributions to open-source projects, publications, or speaking engagements within the cybersecurity community.

  • Leadership experience or previous mentorship roles.

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies for security monitoring and anomaly detection.

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
